Pages: Migration Tool

The Migration Tool allows you to convert legacy HTML pages into the new Workvivo Page builder.

• Preserved formatting: Layouts, formatting, images, and links are preserved where supported, saving you significant time compared to manually rebuilding pages from scratch. 

• No disruption, no broken links: Migrated pages retain their original URL and analytics, so nothing changes for your employees or your reporting.
• Preview before you publish: When editing an existing page, you can try the new editor, see exactly how it will look, and make adjustments before going live - your original page stays untouched until you're ready.
• You're in control: Migration is manual and user-initiated, so your team moves at a pace that works for you. No pages will be automatically converted.

Pages: Version Control

Editors and Admins now have full visibility into how content evolves over time, and the ability to restore previous versions when needed. Note: Applies to new Pages only, not HTML pages.

• Last Edited Information: Each page now displays a Last Edited timestamp and the Editor’s name directly in the page header.
• Named Versions:  Editors can assign custom names to important versions, making it easier to track major updates or policy changes over time.
• Restore a Previous Version: If something goes wrong or content is accidentally overwritten, editors can restore a previous version with a single click.

Enhancements designed to make creating, viewing, and engaging with content easier and more interactive than ever before. 

• Do Not Translate Option: Mark specific words or phrases that should not be automatically translated when viewers use the translation feature - perfect for brand names, technical terms, or code snippets.

• Comments & Reactions on Pages: Readers can now react and comment directly on published pages.

• Document Component: Add documents directly into your page content for seamless viewing, allowing users to preview PDFs inline for example.
  
• Column Resizer Tool: More control over your page layout with the ability to resize column widths, add up to 3 columns, and remove columns as needed.
  
• Video & Embed Resizing: Just like images, videos and embedded content can now be resized.
  
• Align Button Options: Choose whether buttons are left, center, or right-aligned.
