HQ Transition Timelines + Admin Early Access

Workvivo HQ is here! Here's what you need to know and do right now:

IMPORTANT DATES:

• September 7, 2026 - January 8, 2027: The transition window. You can pick any date within this time period to transition your platform to the new HQ experience.

• After January 8, 2027: All platforms that have not transitioned by this date will be moved to HQ automatically.
  
• October 1, 2026: Deadline to provide desired transition date to LineZero.
  

EARLY ADMIN ACCESS:

Up to two Platform Admins from your organization can access Workvivo HQ before your official transition date. This gives them time to explore the new experience, build & refine landing pages, and get comfortable with the changes before launch.

Designated admins will see a toggle in the top-right corner of Workvivo (next to the avatar bubble) to switch between the current experience and HQ. Everyone else stays on the current experience until your transition date.

Journeys Updates

• Custom Descriptions - All Journey steps and intervals now support custom text fields, configurable in the Journey builder, allowing you to map out and describe your Journeys as you wish.
• Edit Active Journey Audience - Your Journey is motoring along nicely, but you want to add some more people to the party. Well, now you can. Admins can edit the audience in active Journeys and new matching users are added to the audience as required. 
• Increased Step Limit - Max steps has gone from 20 to 40 (including intervals).
• Auto Sync Audience - There is a new toggle which is OFF by default. When it is toggled on, new matching members are auto-added every 24 hours.
• Update Auto-Completed Steps Content - Content is editable on active Journeys for survey, badge, space enrol/unenrol steps.

Articles: Default Article Language for Smarter Multilingual Authoring

This new capability automatically sets the language of a new Article based on the author's own platform language - removing the need to manually re-select a language every time.

Whether you're a global organization publishing content in multiple languages or simply want to ensure Articles are created in the right language from the start, Article Default Language takes the guesswork out of multilingual authoring.

Note: This feature is available on web and mobile and applies to new Articles only - previously created Articles will not be retroactively updated.

Summarizes relevant activity into a simple, click-through series of cards personalized to each user to ensure they never miss important moments, even if they've been away.

AI COMPOSE PROFILES (WITH WV HQ)

Create distinct AI writing profiles for different leaders, teams, or communication styles.

CHAT ENHANCEMENTS

Rich text formatting, preview cards, shoutouts, voice note transcripts, message scheduling, and ability to search Chat content via global search menu.

AI LIVESTREAM FEATURES (WITH WV HQ)

AI Livestream summaries, smart chaptering, and recordable broadcasts.

NATIVE LIVESTREAM SCREEN SHARING 

Share your screen, slides, or documents directly from Workvivo during a native livestream (currently only available through RTMPS 3rd Party livestreams).

SEARCH ENHANCEMENTS

Ability to filter by Author and Date and set default sort preference between Most Recent or Most Relevant.

PAGES UPDATES

Additional color, font, and formatting enhancements for more brand guideline consistency.

NEWSLETTER UPDATES

Additional branding capabilities plus the ability to duplicate existing newsletters.
