Experienced, educated, Human Resources certified business leader, advisor, advocate, breast cancer survivor and US Army veteran with military, construction, energy, nonprofit, healthcare & government industries knowledge.
I enjoy sharing my experiences and expertise to empower organizations to do great things with amazing people! Life is good, work can be fun, and no matter what challenge, I always seem to find something positive.
Challenging the status quo and igniting innovation make me feel alive! I am currently the Local Veterans Employment Representative (LVER) for the State of Utah in Workforce Services. In this role I provide strategic and operational expertise to employers and other interested organizations that enhance Veteran, Military Member and Military Spouse employment, training and development initiatives across the great state of Utah. I oversee the amazing Utah Patriot Partnership program.
I love being involved with organizations that truly impact people's lives! I share my passion of people through SHRM. I have my SPHR certification. I am currently on the Utah SHRM Board of Directors as well as a USAA/SHRM Foundation Military Community Ambassador. I have served in several positions on the Utah SHRM Board of Directors for over 5 years to include 2 years of those years as the Marketing Chair for 2 of Utah SHRM’s Conferences. Previous to that I enjoyed 3 years on the Salt Lake SHRM Board of Directors as the Director of Public Relations and Webmaster.
