Meta has announced a timeline for discontinuing Workplace from Meta. Here are the key dates:
This is greatly dependent on the needs of your organization and what you are looking for from your communication platform. Our LineZero consultants are well-versed in several platforms and their features and can make recommendations that will best suit your goals and needs.
You will be able to download your own Workplace data, such as profile information, posts or chat messages, at any time up until May 31, 2026. For data that will not be migrated, it can be archived. LineZero has an archiving solution that will allow us to pull any group or user feed into an html that is stored locally. This html file will display content just as it appeared in Workplace and is searchable so you can find historical information easily.
From analysis to procurement to data archiving and launch, the migration process will take approximately 4-8 weeks but timelines may change based on your organization’s requirements.
