Workplace Reaches Over 7 Million Paid Users in 2021!

30-Jun-2021 4:03:42 PM

Workplace from Facebook has announced that they have reached over 7 million paid subscribers in 2021.

In the last year, we’ve seen a massive shift in the way we do work, and as we begin our journey back to whatever our new “normal” will look like, we’ve learned a lot. For one thing, we’re closer to our co-workers. We got a sneak peek into their houses, met their families, and had important conversations with their pets as we switched to live video feeds for our meetings.

Employers, in particular, are recognizing the importance of creating great employee experiences (EX), and business leaders are recognizing the need of really taking the time to interact with individuals in remote or hybrid work settings. And everyone recognizes that our most vital frontline employees are typically the most vulnerable, and that engaging with and supporting them is the most important thing organizations can do.

Workplace Reaches 7M Paid Users

With employee communication and corporate culture made all the more important by our extended absence from our colleagues, we’re excited to announce that Workplace from Facebook has reached a massive milestone – 7 million paid users around the globe are using Workplace to engage, connect, and communicate.

“This milestone is validation that organizations are recognizing the importance of employee experience (EX). Organizations are recognizing the need to invest in EX because, once those investments are made, they'll be able to grow and retain their employees, and keep, grow, and attract new customers, says Jaime McMahon, Chief Technology Officer at LineZero.

Erika Moll-Richardson, LineZero’s Account Executive, further expands on this thought with the acquisition and success customers are seeing by using Workplace from Facebook:

Campbell uses Workplace groups and Workplace Chat to connect managers with staff members, and by doing so, they’ve boosted connectivity by 243%,” says Erika Moll-Richardson.

Virgin Atlantic uses automation and bots to transform everyday workflows, like helping staff take advantage of their travel perk, into something more unique and interactive. The It Gets Better Project used Workplace for Good to build a global LGBTQ+ movement. These are all incredible examples of organizations using Workplace by Facebook to connect people, and it really tells a story of how such collaboration within organizations can increase productivity and engagement.”

Whether you want to better manage work-life integration, think of new ways to engage employees, make your job easier by automating mundane tasks, take your corporate culture to the next level and use it to attract top talent, or be a frontrunner for change in new and exciting ways, Workplace from Facebook gives you the tools to transform your company into a meaningful community.

“At LineZero, we believe that having a strong communication and engagement tool, like Workplace from Facebook, can create a positive work climate that encourages openness and transparency through all levels of the organization,” says Moll-Richardson. “We use Workplace ourselves as a part of our corporate culture; Our CEO shares company-wide announcements from his “CEO” group; We give employees recognition via our “Internal Kudos” group; We keep in touch with each other using Workplace Chat rather than sending emails, and much more. We’re excited to see new companies embracing this technology and excited to bring this message to the next 7 million people.”
